Domain 5 KSAs

This training will equip PEERfessionals with the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined in Domain 5 of the Maryland Addiction and Behavioral-health Professionals Certification Board’s Peer Recovery Specialist competencies. Participants will learn to recognize and apply principles of risk reduction, provide tools and strategies to support wellness, connect individuals to resources, and practice self-awareness in order to promote health, dignity, and autonomy for those impacted by substance use and mental health challenges.
