We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Addiction Counselors to join our team. As an Addiction Counselor, you will provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. - Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address clients' addiction issues
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
- Provide behavioral health counseling to address underlying mental health issues
- Assist clients in developing coping mechanisms and relapse prevention strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in addiction counseling
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Valid certification or license as an Addiction Counselor (e.g., CADC)
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to addiction and behavioral health
- Experience in conducting individual and group counseling sessions
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and applied behavior analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
