Ethics for Peer Recovery Specialists

Ethics for Peer Recovery Specialists is a 3-day in-person training that provides participants with the knowledge and skills to become certified in Maryland. Participants will learn the ethics, values, and boundaries of a peer recovery specialist; the skills needed to balance different ethical principles and values and how to use them to guide professional practice; and the professional etiquette expected of a peer recovery specialist. The training is interactive and includes discussion, role place, and written exercises.
