Heart Work: Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

OOOMD’s TAY Project presents a transformative training led by Evelyn Clark, a Mexican-Native American woman dedicated to advancing racial equity, leadership development, and fostering peer support. In this enlightening session, Evelyn will delve into the core principles of her personal mission: eliminating racial and ethnic disparities within systems. Drawing upon her extensive knowledge and experience, Evelyn will guide participants through the essential heart work required to achieve this mission. Through a lens that is both trauma-informed and culturally responsive, she will empower attendees with actionable steps to incorporate Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) principles within the workplace and in their personal lives.

This training will foster the development of effective communication skills, equipping participants with the tools necessary to engage in constructive and inclusive dialogues. Additionally, Evelyn will address conflict resolution techniques, providing valuable insights into navigating challenging conversations with empathy and respect. The principles of empowerment will serve as a cornerstone throughout this training. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and strategies to uplift marginalized voices, promote inclusivity, and create meaningful change within their spheres of influence.
