Ethics for the Peer Recovery Specialist

The training will cover the knowledge areas and skills required for Peer Recover Specialist candidates to demonstrate ethical responsibility. The training will be in-person and interactive, and include group activities/exercises and discussions. Professional standards and etiquette, the MABPCB Code of Ethics, and peer tools (e.g., the Recovery Coaching Intimacy, Resolving an Ethical Issue, and the MABPCB Ethics Complaint Form) will be reviewed. A post-test will be administered.
