This training provides the ten (10) required hours of knowledge, skills, and abilities in the Advocacy Domain for candidates seeking certification as Peer Recovery Specialists. Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to: describe client rights and responsibilities; advocate within systems to promote person-centered recovery/wellness support services; collaborate with individuals to identify, link, and coordinate choices with resources; and engage in advocacy that supports client families.
