Overview

By the conclusion of this training, participants will:  

  1. Be able to define Crisis Intervention.​ 

  1. Understand the impact past traumatic events have on the human psyche.​ 

  1. Be able to identify the initial form of communication needed to intervene in a crisis.​ 

  1. Be able to effectively intervene, stabilize, and restore (or redirect) someone in crisis mode (*role plays)​
