Is Peer Work Right for You?

Many folks go through the training pathways to CPRS certification, and learn quickly that the peer role is not what they had envisioned. This workshop will provide a self-inventory checklist for those who are interested in being peer support specialists, but aren’t sure if the career is right for them. Participants will be guided through examples and self-reflection questions about the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of a peer, to uphold the values and ethics of peer work and general workplace readiness.
