Mr. Moyd is a highly respected facilitator and prides himself in delivering trainings that are engaging, challenging and fun. In 2012, his career led him to begin facilitating behavioral health services curricula. This is where his passion for facilitating came alive and catapulted him as a leading educator in recovery support services.

Vincent Batteast, Sr.
Vincent Batteast, Sr. is an experienced Coach, Facilitator, and Keynote Speaker. Driven by lived-experience, he takes pride in providing the best power-of-example possible. As an Executive Peer Recovery Coach, his goals include advanced recovery, transformational leadership, and abundant success. In addition to his primary job functions, Vincent Batteast, Sr. has been recognized by his colleagues and peers for his extraordinary commitment to living a new way of life and showing others how they too, can prosper.

Hillena Beyene, RPS
CCAR Core Trainer Hillena (Hillu) Beyene is a person in long-term recovery.
In 2012, he co-founded Peer2Peer Recovery Services, Inc. with the mission of providing recovery support and services to many in Maryland. Since that time, Hillu has been a mentor and advocate for individuals seeking to enter or maintain long-term recovery.

Sylvester (Tony) Conn, LMSW, CPRS
For over two decades, Mr. Conn has served in the Behavioral-Health field. His resume includes: administration and management as well as direct service. Tony has enjoyed his work as counselor, mentor, advocate, and both group & training facilitator. He continues to strengthen his skill set to be effective in an ever changing climate.

Andrea Landry, MS, CPRS
Andrea, the Mental Wellness Diva, is an award winning national speaker with a message of hope to overcome mental illness challenges. She is an outspoken leader who empowers others to embrace their mental wellness and stand tall in victorious confidence. Armed with a M.S. in Psychology she has inspired hundreds of individuals through one-on-one consultations, workshops and webinars to develop effective coping skills and advocate for themselves.

Vaile Leonard
Vaile Leonard is the Founder and Executive Director of The Light of Truth Center (LTC), LTC has been providing recovery services for over 20 years. Under her superior leadership, Reverend Vaile has developed LTC into a full-service recovery organization that includes multi-level supportive housing options; treatment services, recovery educational programs, wellness programs, training and meeting space facilities. She is a successful graduate of the Weinberg Fellows Program, a Certified Recovery Trainer and Specialist, and former Maryland Certified Volunteer with the Maryland Correctional Institute for Woman.

Constance Mann-Leonard
CCAR Trainer Constance Mann-Leonard is an ally and married to an individual in recovery whom is celebrating 28 years of sustained recovery. She currently serves as a Volunteer Facilitator for the Light of Truth Center where she facilitates a Spiritual Principles in Recovery Group. Through this group participants come to identify spiritual principles within the 12 step program and how to practice and live them in everyday living. She also prepares and/or coordinates group activities and topics related to life skills development and spiritual principles to support the recovery, transition, and restoration of women served in LTC programs.

Shawn Pringle
Since 2014 when Mr. Pringle began serving in the Behavioral-Health field, he has been devoted to educating himself and others on skills and practices for a healthy recovery lifestyle. In his trainings, groups and one-on-one sessions, he encourages individuals to be critical thinkers and problem solvers. Shawn enjoys creating curricula that encourages higher level thinking and it is felt in his passionate delivery.

Tiffinee Scott, RPS
Tiffinee Scott is a passionate advocate for the recovery community, families and peers. Ms. Scott has an impressive background in the justice system, family services, health education and peer recovery training and services. She is the President & Founder of the Maryland Peer Advisory Council (MPAC), a peer-run social accountability advocacy council of individuals, family, allies, supporters, faith-based organizations and community stakeholders who advocate on local, state and legislative levels to address and support actionable efforts for prevention, substance misuse, addiction, harm reduction, mental health, behavioral-health, criminal justice, health disparities and recovery. She approaches advocacy with the consciousness that "Together we can make a difference."

Jacqueline Thompson, RPS, CPRS
Ms. Thompson has been providing direct services and leadership in behavioral health for over a decade. She is a great example of a role model and mentor. She not only provides knowledge through facilitation but has a special passion for coaching individuals one-on-one. And, she does all this with warmth and poise.
