Safer Injection & Basic Wound Care

This three-hour training explores techniques for safer injection and how to reduce potential harms associated with injection drug use. The training will also provide basic wound care techniques for non-clinicians to help deter potential infections associated with injection drug use. This training is for those interested in learning more about harm reduction in a practical application, as well as practitioners, organizations, and outreach workers providing services to people who use drugs.
