Serving Transgender Clients in Recovery
Overview
Serving Transgender Clients in Recovery is a 1-day course designed to raise levels of practical knowledge among health and human services providers about the identities, needs, and concerns of transgender clients in recovery, and to transmit best practices for professional interactions and communications. The program uses multiple learning modalities (video, interactive small and large group activities, and structured dialogue), to engage participants in an upbeat, positive atmosphere and encourage immediate application of the new skills they gain. **Please note: The October 23 training is offered ONLY as part of the larger Sexual Health in Recovery Facilitator Certification course. This date is not available for registration for those who want to take only this single training. Additional training dates for this module will be available in 2025.**
