This workshop equips peers who work in home and community settings to assess situations that require special precautions to safely interact with dogs during crisis-response peer support. It teaches how to recognize and interpret dog body language, and to effectively use your own body language and tools to maintain a safe environment for the person and the dog. This workshop is co-facilitated with an animal behavior professional.
